Microsuction Ear Wax Removal

An Audiologist will examine your ear canal using an otoscope. A small suction device is then carefully inserted into the ear canal. Using low suction pressures and other instruments, as deemed necessary, they will gently suction and remove excess ear wax or debris.

As more wax is removed hearing improves therefore noise of the suction machine becomes more noticeable.

Irrigation

Ear irrigation, also known as syringing, is a procedure to consider for the removal of ear wax which involves water pulsation through the ear canal to flush out wax. After the Audiologist assesses your ear with an otoscope they can advise whether this would be a suitable therapy for you.
